Grape Studios is led by Johanna Peet, a Brooklyn-based creative, lawyer, and entrepreneur.
After starting my career in foreign policy, I fell in love with the world of startups and went on to found two successful companies, managing every aspect of running a business, from sales and marketing to operations and product development.
A big picture thinker and problem solver, I specialize in strategy, brand marketing, and e-commerce operations, having supported teams in a range of industries including beauty, wellness, fashion, and home. With Grape, I bring my own network and a deep bench of talented senior graphic designers, developers, and operators to implement projects large and small.
I believe business and entrepreneurship have the opportunity to be a catalyst for meaningful social change. My mission is to work with founding teams to create purpose-driven brands positioned for sustainable growth and long-term impact.

Johanna Peet is a lawyer, entrepreneur, and consultant. She founded Peet Rivko, an award-winning sustainable clean skincare line, and co-founded, Tio y Tia, a hatwear line made by the oldest hatmaker in America featured in Vogue, NY Mag, and Departures.
Born and raised in Delaware, Johanna began her career in foreign policy working on human rights and migration policy at the State Department and Brookings Institution in Washington DC. She has a JD/MBA from New York University and a MA from the University of Amsterdam where she was a Fulbright Scholar. She also received a BA from the University of Virginia, where she studied Political & Social Thought as a Jefferson Scholar.
